Biodiesel is the fastest growing renewable fuel in the United States with an average annual growth rate in excess of 100% per year over the last five-year period. An environmentally friendly product, biodiesel is renewable and mixes easily with diesel fuel at rates between 2% and 100%. In addition, biodiesel improves the lubricity of petroleum based diesel fuel significantly at levels as low as 2%, and therefore is a substitute for sulfur, currently found in all petroleum diesel and legislated to be removed in the next decade.
